The Flats

It was such a nice day that we decided to take the boat out for a picnic lunch. We went up the North Edisto to Westbank Creek. It was almost dead low tide so we didn’t get too far up the creek and anchored beside the mud flats at the turn in the creek. The egrets were feeding away on the flat and the clouds formed a great backdrop. A quick sketch helped to build up an appetite for lunch.
