I was painting on Marsh Gate Dr. facing east to catch the back glow from the soon to set sun. As I finished up I turned around to find the whole sky aglow and all colors were washed out by the orange glow. It was too late to start a new painting so I studied to scene closely and took a couple of photos. This painting is the result of a reconstruction back in the studio.
