Sun and Fog Over Eagle Lake

 In the 1850's Fredrick Church painted "Sunset Over Eagle Lake". My paintings s a little lower down on Cadillac Mountain and it was a little before sunset. It had very foggy all day but was finally burning off. I was drawn to the contrast between the lingering fog and the glare on the water.
