Shady Oak

We had good friends visiting last weekend and were going to go out in the boat. Unfortunately we got blown out by small craft warnings. We decided to go to Middleton Gardens and look at the azaleas. It is a wonderful place to visit and if alone I could have spend the day painting there. Instead we walked over 5 miles and I took enough pictures to keep me busy for some time. This lone oak was down by the rice paddies and dwarfed my wife who stopped in its shade.
